Area teens are encouraged to register for “Build a Better World!”, the Perry Public Library’s teen summer library program from May 15th to July 28th. Teens are invited to come to the library to participate for prizes as well as to take part in special events offered throughout the summer.

Special events this summer will include a mystery party entitled "Cracks in the Wall Murder Mystery", Trivia, Bridge Building Competition, Build a Hoverboard, Classic Cartoon and Cereal Mornings, and so much more! There will also be weekly prize drawings for teens that participate in a weekly building challenges.

Beginning May 15th, teens in junior high and high school can register for the teen summer reading program.  Teens will be able to receive chances at a grand prize for Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet by participating in various aspects of the program.

The “Build a Better World!” teen summer library program is sponsored by the Perry Public Library, the Friends of the Perry Public Library, Dollar General Literacy Foundation, and Subway of Perry.
