Card Makers Card Swap: Monthly Handmade Greeting Card Swap

What's a Card Swap?

Not familiar with a card swap? It basically consists of designing a card and then making multiples of that exact card for each person in the swap group. Our swap group is going to be capped at 10 participants. If there are not 10 participants, then the remaining cards will be donated to the Friends of the Perry Public Library to be sold as a fundraiser. You will receive a card from each member of the group for that month (9 cards or less). Each month will have a different swap theme and a voluntary technique challenge. The themes will be listed below for the individual months. There will be a general theme and then a voluntary technique challenge to incorporate into your themed design.

How to Participate:

What You Need to Do to Participate:

Step 1: Pre-Register to Participate

  • This is your commitment to the swap group. This program will only work if people participate after registering for the Card Swap Group.

Step 2: Make 10 Identical Cards with Envelopes

  • Suggested standard finished A2 size cards 5-½" X 4-¼".

Step 3: Bring Your 10 Cards with Envelopes to the Library on the Swap Day and Time

  • Swap Day will generally be held on the third Saturday of the month at 12:30 pm in the Library Community Room following the monthly Paper Crafting with Kathy. Be sure to check the full Events Calendar and your registration for the date of each Swap.
