Teen Library Programs
Teen Lounge (6th to 12th Grades) (3:30 pm – 4:30 pm)
September to November & January to April
Fridays at the Library are for Teen Lounge, our weekly program for teens in middle and high school! We meet on Fridays (January to April and September to November) from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Every week will be different: crafts, games, speakers, a movie, karaoke, or just a place to hang out. This month's planned activities include:
- March 6 – ISU Extension Ricochet: ISU Extension will host a monthly Ricochet youth leadership program, which consists of "very active team-building activities that help youth develop their leadership skills."
- March 13 – Anime Drawing I: Learn how to draw Anime! We will watch the popular "Anime Your Way" YouTube program to learn how to draw anime-style faces.
- March 20 – Anime Drawing II: We will continue to learn how to draw Anime by watching more of "Anime Your Way" YouTube clips.
- March 27 – Protect Your Peeps: Teens will divide into teams and build barricades to protect their own Peeps and weapons to destroy the opposing team's barricades and their Peeps!
