Teen Summer Library Program
Teens will explore Oceans of Possibilities this summer.
Beginning May 23rd, Register for the Teen Summer Library program online, in person, or call the library at 515-465-3569.
How Do I Participate?
Read or Listen to Books at Your Reading Level (Begins May 23rd)
Once you have read or listened to a book, fill out a book review form. Bring your review forms to the library or submit your reviews online. You will receive a free drawstring backpack after completing the first book review. You will receive a free water tumbler after completing the second book review. You will receive a free book after completing the the third and fourth book review. You can continue to read to earn Grand Prize entries. Every review submitted will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing.
Participate in the Weekly Shipwrecked Survival Challenge (Begins week of June 6th)
Each week there will be a Weekly Shipwrecked Survival Challenge. These will begin on Monday mornings and must be completed by Saturday of that week. The Shipwrecked Survival Challenges will test your survival skills. Once completed, you will receive a Anchor Scratch Ticket for the opportunity to win a gift card to an area business [ The Lazy Goose, Subway, Perry Perk, Grand Theatre ]. In addition, each challenge completed earns an entry into the Grand Prize drawing.
Special Events & Activities (Begins June 10th)
Each week there will be a Teen program on Friday at 2pm. No registration is required to attend any of the weekly events. Participants will earn one Grand Prize entry for each event attended. The list of weekly events can be found by clicking the link to the left.
